Despite all of the demoralizing dominance of trumpism, and apparent inability of challengers to skewer his popularity, it's heartening to realize that even the simplest pushback against energy tyranny, from any GOP candidate under the sun, could have more pragmatic value than all of the Kulturkampf stuff put together... Since energy really runs the world. Let's hope and pray for more reactors and more pipelines.
Why couldn't Tim Scott be an even better candidate? The Oregonian had an extremely positive article about him in Wednesday's paper. Which surprised me. The (Tribune) writer called him a hero. He came up from poverty.
