I actually haven’t been listening to Charlie lately! Thanks for the tip! Except that I worry about just copying him because he says everything so much better. 🤣
Yeah, that has to be a big job hazard with you writers. Well, Charlie is articulate and funny, but you have a niche market... you're articulate and Christian. (and, I assume, funny also, but that's not really the hallmark of your product). Vive la difference.
I have the great privilege of doing pilot medical exams on behalf of the FAA. Every pilot who works for an American company (whether or not they are American citizens) needs a medical at least annually, and if they're over the age of 40, they need one every six months. I have seen immigrant pilots from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, England, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Nigeria, etc. etc. Every single one of them will tell you how grateful they are for the opportunity to relocate to the US and fly for an American company. The reasons are myriad, but stability, liberty, acceptance among peers regardless of birth status, and opportunity for their children rank high. There many challenges today, but America still gets some things right.
Looking forward to your essays. Assume you've been listening to Charlie Cooke's podcasts on that topic?
The Jazz doc is magnificent. (Burns's newest one on the revolution is also very good).

So good!

Great reminder, Ron. Thank you!
